Pre trip: getting under Lenny’s bonnet

We had a day in the workshop getting to know Lenny a bit more intimately.

There’s too much to learn for just one day in Julian’s Overland Cruisers workshop, but we feel a lot more informed and prepared for the journey than we did at the beginning of the day.

Julian took us through the anatomy and the most common faults, temporary fixes and daily checks to minimise problems in the first place.

We learned about oil & hydraulic fluid checks, jacking up the car, changing a wheel and bleeding nipples.

Then on the way home on the train we started getting into this weighty tome.
