Today we spent some time with Michelin paper maps, plotting out the route.
We broke the entire route into approx 200km chunks to get a sense of an average day’s drive.
Also using the Tracks4Africa and iOverlander apps, we can plot towns, shops, petrol stations, accommodation, campsites etc for that day’s travelling.
Of course there will be many unknown factors that might mean we have to rethink the route.
We plan to take the ferry from Algeciras (Andalusia) to Tanger Med port (Morocco), and have our 1st overnight stop on the continent in Asilah.
