We’re so excited and we just can’t hide it.
Taking 6 months to travel slowly south from London via the west coast to Cape Town.
If we don’t make it all the way there, no worries. So we can really enjoy the journey rather than the destination.
Planning it all out, the route, the visas, the history, the politics, learning from people who’ve done it before, and finding Lenny the Landcruiser has been exciting so far, maybe it will turn out to be the best bit?
We leave in 6 months, mid-December 2019, hopefully on a miserable London Monday morning and we’re just gonna keep heading south, wiggling the route as we go if we need to or choose to.
Looking forward to waking up and not having to have any plans, just to decide whether to drive further or stay longer and find out more.
